Dear Concerned Citizens,
Thank you for participating previously in the process to update King County's Comprehensive Land Use Plan and the Critical Areas, Stormwater, and Clearing and Grading Ordinances. Final review of the revised CAO and associated ordinances will occur at the Monday, Oct. 18, meeting of the Metropolitan King County Council, beginning with a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. Final public testimony will be taken at this time. Following the public hearing, it will be up to the Council to decide if it is ready to take action. If action does not take place on Oct. 18, the vote will occur at the following Council meeting on Oct. 25. Additional amendments are in the process of being drafted, and they may be available on Monday at the meeting. An agenda is attached below. You can attend the meeting at the King County Courthouse, 10th Floor, 516 Third Ave., Seattle, and you also can watch the proceedings live on Civic Television (CTV), cable Channel 22.
